This project could use more support. They’re about 1/3 of the way to their goal with 34 days to go. Check it out.

Abel and Cain Funded!
Here’s my quick post on Kickstarter celebrating the end of our Kickstarter and the beginning of the next phase of Abel and Cain. We’re funded. We made it. Thanks to everyone for supporting us. You’re pretty damn awesome.

Pretty sure this is my first interview as a filmmaker. Its about Abel and Cain and reaching our goal and the journey on Kickstarter. I’m just so full of wisdom … or shit … one of those … maybe both.
Anyway, I’m interviewed! It’s short-ish. Dig it.
Hey what’s up … me? What have I been doing? Oh … nothing … just having a little party at my desk to celebrate Abel and Cain passing 100% on Kickstarter. Nothing special.
Oh … and Abel and Cain is now fully funded on Kickstarter! I am so so excited and thankful. So very excited. So very thankful. And we still have 3 days to go! 3 whole days! Let’s kick this kickstarter’s ass guys! Let’s crush 100% on the way to 150%!
Thank you everyone for your support moral and monetary. You’re all fucking awesome.
For a Few Dollars More ... — Abel and Cain on Kickstarter
Last night I actually had a nightmare about missing being funded by 5 minutes. Yep. I had a nightmare about Kickstarter. Not a particularly scary one. It was about the same as the nightmare I had before the first day of school every year (all the way through college). The one where classes had actually started the week before, or I couldn’t find the school, or I was at the wrong school. The sort of nightmare where I wake up unnerved but I can get back to sleep once the shadowy figure in the corner of the room stops staring at me. That guy’s a jerk.
So, here’s what I’m asking for:
That’s something I want. I don’t just want to be funded. That’s awesome and we’re making that happen thanks to the 77 folks that have pledged so far, but I want to be more than funded. I want to be one of those projects that was able to surpass their goal.
You want to be part of that, right?
The Kickstarter campaign ends Friday morning. I’m going to be glad to be moving on to the next phase, but doing this also has gotten me thinking about some other things. I am laying groundwork for two plans based on my experiences with this. I think you’ll dig them.
The first involves talking more about crowdfunding campaigns and cool projects people are working on. In doing this I’ve become more aware of the efforts of others on their own projects. So many people are doing cool things that should be talked about. I want to talk about those.
The second idea … well, I’ll tell you about that later, but you’re going to love it. It’s taken a lot for me not to gush and jabber about this second idea since I had it two weeks ago. It’s going to be very cool.
Can’t get started on those until Abel and Cain’s campaign is done. Let’s get to 100% now. Let’s do it today. Pledge. Add to your pledge. Strong arm your friends into pledging.
Thank you everyone.
